Qualifications
Mandatory
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
(candidates currently pursuing these degrees are also welcome)
Must be fluent in English
Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming
Experience with multimodal AI systems, including LLMs, LAMs, AI vision, and AI audio
Familiarity with AI platforms such as Hugging Face, LangChain, and fine-tuning techniques for LLMs
Strong foundation in machine learning, neural networks, and interpreting research papers
Desirable
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS SageMaker and AWS Bedrock, as well as AI platforms like Antropic Claude, IBM WatsonX, Google Gemini, Microsoft GPT-4, LLama2
Proficiency in Python libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and AI tools (AutoGPT, GTP Engineer, CrewAI, Taskweaver, Langgraph, GitHub)
Knowledge of Knowledge graphs (SciTools, Neo4j), RAG techniques, and prompt engineering
Passion for staying updated on AI and ML advancements
Primary Responsibilities
- Fine-tuning AI models for optimization
- Designing schema and architecture for AI applications using Whimsical
- Researching and developing new AI trends
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of AI solutions
Additional Skills and Attributes
Familiarity with the latest AI frameworks and libraries, including TensorFlow 2.x, PyTorch 2.x, JAX, and Hugging Face Transformers
Experience with open-source AI models and tools, reflecting the trend towards democratized access to sophisticated AI technologies
Understanding of the importance of MLOps for deploying and maintaining AI systems in real-world settings
Ability to recognize the potential and limitations of LLMs using platforms like Hugging Face and LangChain
Commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about global AI progress, including the latest trends like multimodal AI and open-source AI
Collaboration
Work in coordination with the front and backend teams to ensure seamless integration, e.g., the survey chatbot. Collaborate with Jafet, our in-house Python expert, to work on AI-related tasks.
